John A. DiCicco, Ph.D.


Since 1999, Dr. DiCicco had been teaching in the Business Department at Curry College in Milton, M.A He has taught several business courses with a specialization in leadership. He has retired from Curry College after 21 years of service to begin a new venture entitled The Authentic Leader.

Dr. DiCicco has partnered with Dr. Robert Cuomo, Ph.D., to conduct and administer leadership training programs within the healthcare, educational, retail, steel fabricator and hospitality industries to name a few. These training programs are designed to build and inspire authentic leaders to improve their skills and reach their true potential. The catalyst for delivering these training programs will be promoted through a learning tool which Dr. Cuomo and Dr. DiCicco have developed through years of corporate and academic experience. This learning tool will accompany each leadership training program and include a narrative story and lesson plan.

Dr. DiCicco is an affiliate member of Wentworth Institute specializing in teaching business management courses to construction and project managers.

Dr. DiCicco has served as the Campus College Chair of Graduate Business Management Programs at the University of Phoenix, Massachusetts Campuses from 2007 – 2014. Between 2014- 2016 he has also taught Micro and Macro Economics at Dean College in Franklin, MA.

From 1991 to present, Dr. DiCicco has served as the president of Organizational Analysis Systems, a management consulting group located in Brockton, MA, specializing in organizational and leadership consulting and training to upper- and middle-level managers to be more responsible leaders in their respective fields.

DiCicco has authored and coauthored Leadership is a Choice and The Leadership Gene. And coauthor of The Authentic Leader, slated to be published in March 2022. Leadership podcasts and newsletters can be found on his website, choicetolead.com.

John DiCicco earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Professional Development at Capella University in Minneapolis, MN, in 2001. He has been happily married to his wife of 42 years, Gale, and has a son Eric. All reside in Brockton, MA.

Robert Cuomo, Ph.D.


Dr. Robert J. Cuomo is President of The Cuomo Consulting Group, a firm which specializes in executive leadership, coaching, and helping individuals make effective career decisions.

Dr. Cuomo is the former Dean of the Girard School of Business at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA, and Founding Dean of the School of Business Dean College in Franklin, MA. He earned a Ph. D in Economics from Boston College in 1977. He has an extensive professional network, has held senior management positions in the corporate, consulting, and higher education industries and understands effective organizational management and what it takes to be successful in today’s rapidly changing business world. He has designed and implemented numerous programs to foster executive development and has been instrumental in building bridges between the academic and business worlds.

Robert J. Cuomo is the Chief Financial Officer of the The Joey Fournier Services, a 501 (c3) organization. The organization provides after-school activities in the Lawrence Public Schools. The program focuses on activities that reinforce violence prevention and prosocial skills such as empathy, impulse control, anger management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

Dr. Cuomo has provided expert witness testimony before legislative bodies including the U.S Congress and the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities He is frequently interviewed by newspapers and radio stations to provide commentary on leadership and economic issues. He has written columns for the Eagle Tribune, has appeared regularly on WCAP radio and has been a frequent guest on the local cable television station.

Dr. Cuomo has taught economics courses at Boston College, Babson College, Merrimack College, Dean College, Lasell College, Cambridge College and the University of Phoenix. These courses have included Industrial Organization, Public Finance, Econometrics, International Trade, Labor Economics, Economic Development, Comparative Economic Systems, Business Ethics and Negotiations.

On a personal note, Dr. Cuomo lives in North Andover and has been married to his wife Donna for 52 years. They have two adult children, Mark and Rachel, both of whom live locally.
